From the persistence of WELS to the fairy tales of New Age, I have studied God.  The common man’s theology course, my classroom is our Father’s world.   My conclusion is that we are meant, by our Creator, to discover and uncover Him in personal and beautiful ways.  I have learned that there is less ‘hocus pocus’ to God than I ever thought possible.  I believe that just as the natural sciences and mathematics are discovered by man rather than created or devised by man, God and His miracles are meant to be discovered and understood in natural terms.  I believe that mankind is now on the threshold of making great strides in understanding God and his intentions for us little pea-brains on earth.

The classroom is open to everyone, and the tuition is very reasonable.  God sent His only Son, Jesus, to aid us in our discovery.  He is our link and our strength as each of us struggles and triumphs with every new breakthrough.  Through the words of Jesus and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we have the perfect, loving and benevolent Teacher.

Of course, I have studied scripture, but I have also kept my eyes and ears wide open in a world that has become a feast of ideas.  So many people along the way have bestowed their rich wealth of knowledge to me, and I am incredibly grateful.

Even though the content of my blog is far more irreverent, I think it is in line with what you are saying. My goal is to ask people to be more aware of what is truly important (love, relationships) and ignore the distractions our culture puts in the way. I hope you enjoy it, as I enjoy your thoughts.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I have been enjoying your posts and looking forward to them. I have heard it said that “The closest thing to Heaven is a happy marriage, and the farthest thing from Heaven is an unhappy marriage.” That said, movement toward holy union toward God through Jesus Christ is movement toward a heavenly state of mind.

  3. Love what you wrote. Look forward to reading more. God bless.

I stand corrected. You are a wise woman, and I should not be surprised. It is rare to find a wise man, but I believe that womanhood share a wisdom that is far beyond anything I can comprehend.

You have my full attention. I am ready to learn!

I kinda feel like finding YOU was metaphorically similar to your lottery ticket story. I found YOU through the back door when I was signed onto my other blog and today took the time to read more. I feel as if I ‘ve been to some great church service♡
